Booking a Food Truck in Burlington
Burlington sits in Halton Region, which matters more than people expect — food-safety approvals for public events there go through Halton Region Public Health, while event licensing is handled by the municipality. Requirements differ from one city to the next. For a private booking on private property the paperwork is usually minimal; for a public or ticketed event there are deadlines to hit. Call us and we'll tell you which office to speak to.
What we need on site
A clear access lane of roughly 30 feet for the truck. Around 20×20 ft for a full BBQ setup, or 10×10 ft for a single station. No power or water hookup is needed — we carry our own generator, propane and equipment, which is why office parking lots, private property and school fields all work without extra arrangements.
How the day runs
We arrive 60–90 minutes before service starts, run a service window of up to two hours, then take 30–45 minutes to tear down and clean up. On-site coordinator, cooking and serving staff, canopy tents, condiment tables, plates, cutlery, napkins and bags are all included in the per-person price. Nothing on that list is billed separately.
Schools in Burlington
Schools in Burlington are served by the Halton District School Board. Each board and each school sets its own vendor and food-safety requirements — check with your school office and we'll supply whatever documentation they ask for.
Booking timeline
- 4–6 weeks ahead for most events, longer through June and July
- 2–3 months for weddings and large corporate events
- A deposit confirms the date; the balance is due on or before the event day
- Cancellations more than 14 days out receive a full deposit refund
